Opus 13 astonishes the eye with an unconventional way of telling time that blends complex mechanics with visual magic. Built around an ingenious double jumping retrograde system of 570 parts, time is expressed through a complex system of 59 pivoting minute hands and 11 rotating triangles to mark the hours. As time advances, the minutes accumulate and escalate around the dial, with every five minutes marked in red. Upon reaching the hour, the minute hands remarkably vanish in unison, and are replaced by a triangular hour marker, which appears from behind a faceted crystal dome. Every 12 hours, the Harry Winston logo appears on the dial, disappearing when the hour is complete.
