Adorned with diamonds and precious gemstones, this dazzling newcomer, with a heart-shaped retrograde seconds counter, is a delightful way to wear your heart on your sleeve.

Embark on a voyage of love.

This year, Harry Winston has selected a precious 36mm white gold ladies’ model from its Ocean Collection to celebrate Valentine’s Day. Beautified with superlative diamonds, the timepiece features a retrograde seconds counter, fashioned in the shape of a heart, at 6 o’clock, which is accented with gemstones in shades of pink.As Harry Winston’s classic sports timepiece choice for both men and women, the Ocean Collection is distinguished by its marriage of bold, contemporary design, refined mechanical complications and luxurious details. The sportiest and most resilient member of Harry Winston’s timepiece collections, the Ocean Collection is water-resistant up to 100 meters, making it an ideal companion for life’s adventures – whether it be on-board or in the boardroom.

Say it with gemstones.

When Harry Winston embraced the art of fine watchmaking in 1989, it was only natural that the superior gemstone quality synonymous with the House would continue to have a starring role in the delicate and highly technological domain of timepieces. The 18K white gold Ocean Valentine's Day model, set with diamonds, mother-of-pearl and precious gemstones in varying shapes and sizes, is no exception and illustrates the extraordinary talent and creativity of Harry Winston’s legendary gem-setters. By playing with different textures, materials and stone-setting techniques, the dynamic, architectural dial features a guilloché motif on the white mother-of-pearl background. This delicate guilloché centerpiece is framed by a ring of 28 expertly-set baguette-cut diamonds, which gives way to the iridescent white mother-of-pearl ring that hosts the applied white gold numerals.

Passionate about retrograde seconds.

The Ocean Collection is renowned for its incorporation of retrograde complications. In the case of the Ocean Valentine's Day timepiece, the retrograde function is featured on the small seconds counter at 6 o’clock, which is shaped like a heart and framed by baguette-cut rubies and sapphires in shades of pink. To create a sense of depth and movement, the sapphires and rubies are cut in varying sizes, and the 12 sapphires at the base of the heart are longer and paler than the eight intense pink rubies crowning the top. Nestled within the radiant heart is a sparkling array of 28 snow-set diamonds. Thanks to the retrograde complication, the small seconds counter is in constant motion performing an elegant sweep from left to right every thirty seconds before jumping back in a counter-clockwise movement to its starting point.

Resilience coupled with the glamour of stones.

Proving that beauty and functionality are perfectly compatible, the hours and minutes hands are treated with a luminescent coating to facilitate legibility in the dark and, like all members of the Ocean Collection, the crown features protectors on either side. Styled to emulate the arched doorway of Harry Winston’s Fifth Avenue Flagship Salon, this safety feature ensures water-resistance to depths of 100 meters. In tribute to Mr. Winston’s lifelong passion for diamonds, a total of 57 brilliant-cut diamonds decorate the white gold case, and a prominent emerald-cut diamond at 12 o’clock reminds us of his preferred gemstone-cut.

The interlocking hearts of the movement.

The romantic spirit of Valentine’s Day encompasses every aspect of this timepiece and the Swiss mechanical automatic movement, visible through a sapphire crystal glass on the case back, reveals a charming novelty. The rotor is composed of two interlocking hearts moving in unison to animate the hour, minute and retrograde second functions. Crafted in white gold and set with mother-of-pearl, the interlocking hearts are cradled by a ribbon of brilliant-cut diamonds, which allows the watch to keep perfect time for up to 65 hours. Equipped with a flat silicon balance spring and the latest technology, Harry Winston timepieces promise years of impeccable service and optimize the overall isochronism of the movement.

A limited edition of 14 timepieces, the Ocean Valentine's Day is presented on a hand-stitched red alligator strap, with brilliant-cut diamonds set in the white gold ardillon buckle.
